This group is for teens in Secondary School years 7 - 12 who are interested in connecting with peers while meeting at a cafe.
This group will provide teens in Secondary School year levels 7 - 12 will meet at a cafe with similar aged teens. This will provide an opportunity to practise meeting new people, conversational skills, and placing an order with the support of Beyond Speech Clinicians (Speech Pathologist and Therapy Assistant). The group will start at the Beyond Speech Clinic and will involve walking to three different Cafes in Healesville.
This group will run for 3 sessions from Tuesday April 9 to Thursday April 11, 10am- 11.30am Places are limited to 8 teens.
The cost per child for the 3 session program is $450.
Please note: This group does not teach a social skills curriculum. Reports and summary letters will not be provided.
Payment in full is required to secure your booking.
No Medicare rebate is available. For Self Managed and Plan Managed clients, an invoice will be issued for you to claim funds from your NDIS plan. Please discuss eligibility for reimbursement directly with NDIS or your plan manager. Please note: Beyond Speech is not liable for any declined reimbursements from NDIS.
Refunds are not available for cancellations or non-attendance to any session.

Note: Only children in the grades specified will be admitted to each group. Registration is subject to approval by clinical staff at Beyond Speech.
